Seiko Sportsmatic 15017 from 1962 (Serviced)

For sale is a Seiko 15017.

The Seiko 15017 features a beautiful champagne sunburst dial with raised concentric circles used to separate the minute markers from the centre of the dial.

The lines joining and extending out of the raised indices help to separate the dial for easy time reading while contributing to visual interest.

The crown sits well within the case allowing a high level of symmetry for the time only watch.

The watch is powered by the automatic calibre 245 that paved way for the highly revered calibres from the calibre 61 family.

The watch case is in well worn condition with loss of plating seen. Light signs of aging can be seen on the dial and hands. The watch crystal is free from any signs of scratches.

Serviced in October 2021, the watch is ready for prolong usage before the next servicing is required.

The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.
