Seiko Lord Quartz 7853-8000 from 1978

For sale is a Seiko 7853-8000.

Many might be familiar with the King and Grand Quartz line but the scarcity of the Lord Quartz has managed to elude the radar of many collectors.

The 7853-8000 features an integrated bracelet aesthetic that is definitely familiar for collectors that are into the classic integrated bracelet watches like the IWC Ingenieur.

Up close, it is apparent that the dial is very well done. It has a fine, granular texture that provides some visual interest, while retaining a matte finish that reinforces the utilitarian nature of the design.

The watch case is in excellent condition with common hairline scratches seen on the case. The watch dial and hands are free from any signs of aging. Light hairline scratches can be seen on the crystal.

The watch comes on its original bracelet that fits up to 6.75" wrist.
