Seiko King Quartz 4823-8120 from 1977 (HSS)

For sale is a Seiko 4823-8120 .

The watch features a beautiful white textured dial that is resembles the texture on a tree trunk. Decorated along edge of the dial are raised stepped indices that are tall and slender.

The hands and indices are give a splash of black paint for greater legibility.

Casing the dial is a eye catching case with multifaceted edges that is a pleasure to look at as light darts across the lines.

Beyond the beautiful lines, the case was made with hardened stainless steel (HSS) with Hv of ~450 that allows the watch to look mint even after years of usage.

Powering this handsome piece is the calibre 4823 which boast an accuracy of ±10s/month. This calibre also has the advance seconds forwarding technology found in the Seiko Superior 4883 calibre. The watch advance to the next 10 mins mark when the crown is being pulled to the second position.

The watch is in mint condition with no signs of aging on the dial. Light aging can be seen on the edge of the hour and minute hands. A brand new crystal has been installed for clarity.

The watch comes with a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.
