Before the introduction of the "Grammar of Design" by Tanaka, the Seiko from the early period have identical case design and the only way for a watch to stand out from from its siblings is through its dial.
The Seiko J15018 offered for sale here is a timepiece that offers the maximum enjoyment for those who prefers their dial with understating elements.
Paying close attention to the seemingly flat simple indices one will notice that each indices are actually multifacted with 4 facets catching and reflecting light from different all angles.
Moving on to the next key element of the dial is the raised lines and circles along the edge of the dial. Instead of going with the commonly production method of printing the minute markers, the J15018 uses intricate lines and circles along the edge of the dial to accentuate the legibility of time
Measuring 35.7mm in diameter, the dial to case proportion of the J15018 allows the watch to worn well even on larger wrist.
The watch is in excellent condition with common hairline scratches een on the case. Light signs of aging can be seen on the dial. The crystal is immaculate condition with just a hairline scratch at 9 and a dot near the middle of it.
The watch comes with a brand new hand made top grained leather strap.
