For sale is a rarely seen Seiko SAGK015.

In collaboration with Kanazawa lacquer artist Kazumasa Tamura, Seiko launched a 500 pieces limited edition SAGK015 nicknamed "Pride in Black".

"The biggest feature of "Pride in Black" is the lacquered dial that pursues deep jet black. This lacquer is carefully painted one by one by the skill of Mr. Ichifune Tamura, a craftsman who keeps the tradition of Kanazawa lacquer ware, and the surface is polished by hand so as not to spoil the texture of lacquer. An extremely uniform thickness is maintained on the coated surface. "

Nicknamed " Pride in Black", the rotor of the watch receives a black hard coating that collectors can admire from the see-through case back.

More than a handsome piece, the watch is powered by the Seiko's top tier automatic chronograph calibre 8R28.

The calibre 8R28 features column wheel for smooth operation of the pusher, vertical clutch for higher accuracy and longevity of the chronograph and a three pointed hammer for instant reset of all chronograph hands.

The alluring black finishing of the dial is then complemented with rich gold accent on the pusher, Seiko logo, chronograph hands, rim of the bezel and subdial.

Measuring 43mm in diameter, the aggressive curve on the lugs coupled with the black coating allows the watch to sit well even on a 6 inch wrist.

The watch is in immaculate near unused condition with the exception of some light hairline scratches on the bezel that is hardly visible.

The watch comes with its original boxes, papers, bracelet, unused leather strap and tags.

Serial number has been covered for privacy.
