Seiko Alpinist SBCJ031 from 2003

For sale is a Seiko SBCJ031.

The Seiko Alpinist collection is one of the most highly sought after collection by fellow seiko collectors. Originally created for Japanese mountain climbers, the alpinist collection often feature an inner bezel compass.

The Seiko SBCJ031 features the familiar looking dial layout of a classic alpinist except that it is powered by the HAQ perpetual calendar GMT calibre 8j56.

The rare SBCJ031 is not to be confused with the more commonly available SBCJ021 with dial completely covered in lume.

The watch is in excellent condition with common hairline scratches seen on the titanium case. The watch dial and hands are free from any signs of aging. The crystal is free from any scratches. Personal engraving can be seen on the case back. A brand new capacitor is installed as well.

The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.

Serial number has been covered for privacy.
