King Seiko Superior Chronometer 45-8010 from 1969

For sale is a Seiko 45-8010.

The watch features a unique c- shape case that can also be seen on Omega Constellation.

Cased within is the highly revered calibre 45. The calibres from the 45 family are known for its incredible results in the 1967 Observatory Chronometer Challenge.

Beating away at 36000bph, the calibre 45 is capable of accurate timing and butter smooth sweep of the seconds hand.

The absence of date complication on the 45 gives the 45-8010 a more symmetrical aesthetic that collectors favor over the 4502.

The watch is in mint condition other than some aging on the edge of the dial between 1 to 6. Slight corrosion can also be observed on the medallion.

The watch comes with a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.

Serial number has been covered for privacy.
