King Seiko 5626-7040 from 1977

For sale is a Seiko 5626-7040. 

The example offered for sale here features the highly sought after steel blue sunburst dial variant that has aged to a dark grey shade.  

The watch is powered by the chronometer graded 28800bph calibre 5626 that features manual winding, hacking and Kanji/English day wheel.

The watch case is in excellent condition other than a nick on the bottom left lug. The watch dial has aged into a beautiful dark grey colour with light trace of the original colour still visible at 9. Very minor signs of aging can be seen in the hands. A brand new watch crystal has been installed for clarity. The medallion is in immaculate condition which is a rare sight now.

The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.

Serial number has been covered for privacy.
