Grand Seiko 4522-8000 from 1971 (Toshiba 25th Anniversary)

For sale is a highly collectible Toshiba 25th Anniversary Grand Seiko 4522-8000.

The watch was produced by Seiko for Toshiba to celebrate their 25th Anniversary.

Being a special production piece for Toshiba, the case back of the anniversary piece is stamped with "25 Year Continuous Service Acknowledgement, Tokyo Shibaura Electric Corporation (The current Toshiba)".

Following the success of the calibre 45 and 4502, the calibre 4522 and 4520 were produced and used within a few variant of Grand Seiko.

The 4522-8000 features the highly sought after "Grammar of Design" that can be seen across different Grand Seiko.

With a lovely classic white dial and a beautiful multifaceted case, this 4522-8000 can be worn on different occasion with just a change of strap.

The watch is in well worn condition with signs of polishing and usage seen. Aging can also be seen on the dial and hands. Light hairline scratches can be seen on the crystal.

The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.
