Grand Seiko 4522-8000 from 1968

For sale is a Grand Seiko 4522-8000.

Following the success of the calibre 45 and 4502, the calibre 4522 and 4520 were produced and used within a few variant of Grand Seiko.

The 4522-8000 features the highly sought after "Grammar of Design" that can be seen across different Grand Seiko.

Powered by the calibre 4522, the 36000bph manual winding calibre allows the watch to sit well on the wrist with a thickness of 9.5mm.

The watch case is in well worn condition with common hairline scratches seen on both the case and bezel. Signs of aging can be seen on the watch dial and hands. Light hairline scratches can be seen the crystal. The medallion in in pristine condition with no signs of aging.

The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.
