A model from the vintage Citizen Blackie collection, it is easy to guess why citizen went with that branding.

The entire watch is coated by a layer of black coating to increase the scratch resistant to the otherwise brittle aluminum alloy case.

The watch comes in a slim turtle casing making it wearable even for people with wrist below 6". The usage of aluminum alloy for the case construction allows the watch to be unbelievably lightweight, making it the lightest dive watch I have worn in my whole life.

Its dial comes with a simple layout with bantam lume hour markers that contrast with the matt black dial. Minute markers have been printed in silver instead of white, making the simple dial comes to life.

Completing the watch aesthetic is a Carolina blue lollipop hands that helped increase the appeal of the watch as compared to the simple stick hour and minutes hands.

With multiple example of Blackie in well worn condition the example here is one of the examples in immaculate condition with the original coating close to perfect condition. Scratches can be seen on crystal. Signs of aging can be seen on the caseback. The watch dial and hands are in perfect condition.

The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.
