Part of the iconic 61GS family, this timepiece represents a milestone in Grand Seiko history, being one of the first to house the brand's high-beat automatic movements, ticking at an impressive 36,000 vibrations per hour. These early 61GS models were held to Grand Seiko's stringent standards of precision, boasting an accuracy of -3/+5 seconds per day at the time of production.

The 6145-8000 embodies the famous "Grammar of Design" philosophy, with sharp angles and clean lines that reflect the essence of Grand Seiko's aesthetic heritage. 

Its 37.5mm case is in excellent condition, showing only minor hairline scratches that add to the vintage character. The dial has light signs of aging, while the hands remain pristine and untouched by time. The crystal bears minor hairline scratches that are hardly noticeable.

This example comes fitted with a brand new handmade top-grain leather strap, offering a modern touch to this classic.
