Seikomatic Weekdater 6206-8990 from 1964

For sale is a Seiko 6206-8990.

The Seiko 6206-8990 is the first ever Seiko Weekdater made which has a movement belonging to the very same family of movement that led to the creation of the first automatic chronometer Grand Seiko.

Being the early variant Seikomatic Weekdater, the watch features the ever sought after Seikomatic script.

As with most 62 calibres the watch features a hidden 4 o clock crown for a cleaner and more symmetrical look.

Measuring 37mm the watch is one of the few non diver vintage watch for those who prefers a non diver vintage watch with larger diameter.

The watch case is in excellent condition with common hairline scratches seen. The watch dial and hands are free from any signs of aging. A scratch can be seen in the middle of the crystal.

The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.

Serial number has been covered for privacy.
