Seiko Silverwave H556-510A from 1984

Nicknamed the "Baby Arnie" the Seiko H556-510A is produced along with the famed H558-5009 Seiko Arnie in the 80s.

The main difference between the two is the size, the H556-510A measures 38mm in diameter while the H558-5009 is way bigger at 46mm.

The example offered here is the rare JDM Silverwave seafoam green dial variant. 

The countdown/compass bezel gets a dose of the eye catching green of the dial which complements the gold accent printed on the bezel. 

A great summer watch, the dial also features maya blue printings on the dial to help users navigate with the multiple buttons situated along the case. 

The watch is then completed with a set of two tone black/gold hands for legibility while not forgoing the need to remind the user that this watch is to remain a fun-ctional piece. 

The watch case is in excellent condition with common hairline scratches seen. Common fading on the bezel and the loss of the light function (common). The LCD displays still works and no signs of aging can be seen on both the hands and dial. Minor hairline scratches can be seen on the crystal.

The watch comes on a brand new 20mm nato strap.
