Seiko Silverwave 6306-8070 from 1978

The watch features a highly legible flat black dial with contrasting white printings and minutes and hours hands that is dramatically enlivened by the funky traffic light seconds hand that are used in the famous 6159 and 6105 divers.

The Seiko Silverwave family is widely known as the first group of Seiko watches suitable for diving (or light diving).

True to how most Silverwave are like, the 6306-8070 features a screwdown crown and case back.

The watch is in a well worn condition with multiple nicks and scratches seen on the case. Light signs of aging can be seen on the indices and hands. A brand new crystal has been installed for clarity.

The watch comes on a brand new matching aftermarket bracelet.
