Seiko Lord Quartz 7143-7000 from 1979

For sale is a Seiko 7143-7000.

Many might be familiar with the King and Grand Quartz line but the scarcity of the Lord Quartz has managed to elude the radar of many collectors.

The 7143-7000 features a vertically brushed grey dial within a circular case with hooded lugs. The unique case shape is more commonly seen on pieces from the 50s and 60s instead of the 70s.

Powered by the calibre 7143, a single battery change allows the watch to run continuously for 5 years before the next battery change is required. Being a JDM watch, the watch also features English/Kanji day wheel.

The watch is in excellent condition other than common hairline scratches seen on the case. The watch dial and hands are free from any signs of aging. A brand new crystal has been installed for clarity.

The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.

Serial number has been covered for privacy.
