Seiko Dolce SACT006 from 1986

For sale is a Seiko SACT006.

Making its debut on the second page of the Seiko's 1982 catalogue right after the Superiors, the Seiko Dolce line eventually took the first page in 1983, starting its reign as Seiko's main line for high accuracy quartz up till 1989 when Grand Seiko made arrival to take the first spot once again.

The Italian word "Dolce" can be translated as "graceful" and this can be seen through the aesthetic of the whole Dolce collection.

The SACT006 is powered by the calibre 9530 and is capable of ±20s/year and 3 years battery life.

The absence of seconds hand on the calibre allows the watch to have a cleaner aesthetic and thinner profile.

Applied hour indices are sandwiched between two raised circles to mark out the hour sections with additional svelte baton indices marking out the 3, 6, 9 and 12.

Measuring 31.3mm in diameter the watch sits well even on wrist of around 6 inches.

The watch is in excellent condition with no signs of aging on the gold plating. Light signs of aging can be seen on the hands but is not very visible on the wrist. The watch crystal is free from any scratches.

The watch comes on a brand new leather strap.
