For sale is a hardly seen 7009-3240.
Most Seiko collectors might be aware of the Seiko Datejust SNXJ89 but not many know of its few predecessors.
The Seiko 7009-3240 is the rarest variant of them all with only a handful of photos of it ever seen.
The watch features a beautiful full lumed dial that gives the dial a soft textured look.
Powered by the calibre 7009 instead of 7s26 in the SNXJ89, the metal day/date wheel along with the quirky quickset day features are definitely welcome.
From the fluted down to the Jubilee bracelet it is no surprise why collectors nicknamed it the "Seiko Datejust" due to the the similarity it has with Rolex Datejust.
The watch is in mint condition with common wear on the chrome bezel. A brand new crystal has been installed for clarity.
The watch comes with its original Jubilee bracelet.
Serial number has been covered for privacy.
