Designed for the visually handicapped, the Seiko 6618-8001 features a snap open top bezel which allows easy access to the sturdy hands and Braille dial.

The 6618-8001 features an understated textured tactile dial that allows the visually handicapped to enjoy the finishing on the dial even with the lack of sight.

Powered by the hand winding 6618 calibre, the watch is preferred by collectors over the quartz powered 7c17 variant.

With the increasing amount of time telling app available on smartphone, Braille watches like this have evolved to become novelty items instead a need.

The watch case is in well worn condition with a light ding to the top left hand side of the bezel. The watch dial and hands are in excellent condition considering the fact that they are constantly being touched. A brand new crystal has been installed for clarity.

The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.

Serial number has been covered for privacy.
