Olympic Orient Swimmer 019904 from 1960s

For sale is an Orient 019904.

Orient watches sold in 60s are highly sought after for their bold and playful design; with mint vintage Orient divers going for thousands.

Vintage Orient design lean towards the Swiss than Japanese with the 019905 spotting a silver concentric circle dial decorated with indices that most might be have seen on a Patek Philippe Calatrava.

The watch is given a sporty touch with the addition of lume situated behind each index and on the hands.

Measuring just 8.5mm in thickness, the watch sits low on the wrist and is perfect for those who likes a watch with a sports aesthetic with smaller wrist presence.

The watch is in excellent condition other than a watchmaker flaw in the centre of the dial that is hardly visible in person due to the textured dial. Common hairline scratches can be seen on both the dial and the case. The original engraving in the dial is still highly visible.

The watch comes on a brand new nato strap.
