For sale is a Grand Seiko SBGA075.
Launched in 2012, the Grand Seiko SBGA075 is a Master Shop exclusive model with a few unique features that sets itself apart from other Grand Seiko models.
The watch case is finished with lyre lugs that collectors might be more familiar with it being used for the cases of 62GS and Omega Speedmaster.
The watch case also features crown guard that helps protect the screw down crown from bumps from your daily activities.
The case is finished with zaratsu polishing with hairline finish (more commonly known as brushed finish) on the lugs and sides to create a contrast against the mirrored surfaces.
The watch dial is decorated with multifaceted indexes that have been polished to a mirrored finish on every edge except the top. The top of the indexes are finished with fine vertical lines that help catches light from different angles producing a "rainbow" under certain lighting.
Unlike most Grand Seiko that has a sunken or printed indicator, the indicator on the SBGA075 is applied and the size of it tells us that Grand Seiko isn't shy too display it.
The dial and hands of the SBGA075 also receives lume for greater visibility under low light settings.
Powered by the spring drive calibre 9R65, the watch is guaranteed am accuracy of ±1s/day with approximately 72 hours of power reserve.
The watch case is in immaculate condition with close to no signs of usage other than a handful of scratches and a small nick of the size of the tip of a needle on the top left lug. The watch dial and hands are free from any signs of aging. The crystal is free from any scratches.
The watch comes on its original bracelet that fits up to 7.75" wrist.
