Seiko Lord Quartz 7853-5020 from 1978

For sale is a Seiko 7853-5020.

Many might be familiar with the King and Grand Quartz line but the scarcity of the Lord Quartz has managed to elude the radar of many collectors.

The 7853-5020 features a sharp angular brushed case dial a smart bracelet design to give the watch an integrated bracelet look.

The real star of the show here is the multi-textured multi-gradient blue dial . The details on the dial is just incredible, the lenticular printing (or technology similar to it) used on the dial allows the different shades of blue applied spring to life as the watch is viewed from different angles.

All these goes on top of a “breeze” like pattern beneath the printing, creating a truly immersive experience when viewed

Being a JDM watch, the watch also features English/Kanji day wheel.

The watch case is in excellent condition with common hairline scratches seen. The dial and hands are free from any signs of aging. The crystal. Is immaculate condition other than a light hairline scratch located at the top right hand corner that is hardly visible.

The watch comes on its original bracelet that fits up to 6.75" wrist.
