Seiko 8J41-0AJ0 from 2018

For sale is a Seiko 8J41-0AJ0.

The 8J41-0AJ0 features high polished gold case that complements the alluring Kira-zuri dial.

Many might be familiar with the term Kira-zuri due to the US 2018 Limited Edition (SBGA387, SBGA385 and SBGA384).

Grand Seiko talks about the Kira-Zuri dial in the following excerpt :

"Inspired by a Japanese painting technique called Kira-zuri, true to its translation “sparkling painting”, the lustrous dial takes a life of its own. Commonly found in ukiyo-e paintings to create texture to the background of Kabuki actors, the inspired technique adds depth and excitement to the timepiece in movement and light. "

The dial is paired with a pair of broad dauphine hands and a capped seconds hand to display the attention to detail on this watch.

The watch is then completed with a black cabochon jeweled crown.

Powering the watch is the calibre 8J41 that is capable of an accuracy of ±10s/year.

The watch case is in excellent condition with little signs of usage seen other than minimal hairline scratches seen on the side of the case. Light aging can be seen on the dial between 1 to 2. The hands are free from any signs of aging. The crystal is free from any scratches.

The watch comes on a brand new leather strap with its original buckle.
