Grand Seiko 4520-7010 from 1970

For sale is a Grand Seiko 4520-7010.

Following the success of the calibre 45 and 4502, the calibre 4522 and 4520 were produced and used within a few variant of Grand Seiko.

The 4520-7010 features a brushed cushion case that strays from the typical "Grammar of Design" case that can be seen across different Grand Seiko.

Powered by the calibre 4520, the 36000bph manual winding calibre allows the watch to sit well on the wrist with a thickness of 9.5mm.

The absence of date display for 4520 allows the watch to have an extremely clean and symmetrical aesthetic.

The watch case is in well worn condition with signs of usage seen across the case. The watch dial has aged beautifully with stripe like patterns forming. The hands are free from any signs of aging. A brand aftermarket medallion has been installed to replace the missing medallion. A brand new crystal has also been installed for clarity.

The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.

Serial number has been covered for privacy.
