Grand Seiko 1964-0010 from 1968

For sale is a Seiko 1964-0010.

The watch is powered by the calibre 1964 which is the upgraded variant of the calibre 1944 - the world's first 36000bph calibre for ladies.

This is an incredible achievement for Seiko as many challenges have to be overcomed during the process of designing the calibre (due to the petit size of the calibres used in ladies watches)

Seiko was able to overcome those difficulties and finally launched it in 1967.

The watch features similar traits to that of the Grand Seiko 4520-8000 and definitely deserves the nickname of "Baby 45GS".

The watch case is in excellent condition with hairline scratches seen around the case. The watch dial and hands are free from signs of aging. Light hairline scratches can be seen on the crystal. The original gold medallion is in immaculate condition with no signs of aging.

The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.

Serial number has been covered for privacy.
